Atlanta Rising Talent Company

ART is made up of hand-selected dancers, dedicated to improving their dance technique and performing for various regional events and competitions. The group is comprised of five divisions- Micro Mini Company (5-6), Mini Company (ages 7-10), Junior Company (ages 8-12), Teen Company (ages 12 and up), and Senior Company (ages 12 and up). Dance classes will focus equally on technical proficiency, performance quality, and dance education. Dancers are trained to be knowledgeable in their art form and should be open to learning new aspects of the field of dance.

November Schedule

11/ 5-6: Sho Skillz! Did you know that friends can sign up too? Ask at the desk for a schedule.For Minis, Juniors, Teens & Seniors. Dancers should have received a schedule in their box.

11/12: Senior Holiday Rehearsal 1-3 p.m., Teen Holiday Rehearsal 3-5 p.m.

11/18: Intensive Student Meeting 5 - 6 p.m.

11/19: Junior Holiday Rehearsal 1-3 p.m., Senior Holiday Rehearsal 3-4:30 p.m.

Juniors, Teens & Seniors learn a small collection of holiday numbers to perform. Dancers should wear their own jeans and winter clothing, as well as bring a hat and scarf to be rhinestoned to complete their outfit. Hair can be styled as they choose, and dancers should wear light make-up. See the performance schedule below

Due November 1: Pulse Convention Fees - Optional for Teens & Seniors $230 for convention.

Due December 1: Nuvo Convention Fees. $230 Juniors, Teens, Seniors

Student Choreography Audition

ADC is holding a student choreography audition on Saturday, December 3 at 2 p.m. Any student from ADC can submit their choreography to be adjudicated and chosen to perform at the Atlanta Rising Talent Showcase and/or the ADC recital. If you would like to participate, please fill out a registration form by November 19. For more information contact andrea@atlantadancecentral.com.

Youth Program Recital Costume Fees Due

If you would like to participate in any youth program recital dances for additional classes you are taking, costume fees are due November 15. ART Company members do NOT pay the recital fee, so you will only owe $80 per costume/class. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Micro Mini Performance

Micro Minis will be performing our "Friday" dance at the Mountain Park Extravaganza on 12/3. Please arrive at 12:45. The performance is at 1:15. Since this is a holiday event, dancers can wear any holiday clothes and their black jazz shoes. Hair can be any style you choose as long as it is out of the face.
